ABOUT

Our Story

As her grandson, I started Lucy Mae's Kitchen in honor and in respect to her. My grandmother dedicated her life to our family, her friends, the church and good homestyle cooking. Growing up at her house, I picked up on her recipes and cooking style at a young age. As I got older, it was normal to be in the kitchen prepping for a holiday or party or simply cooking Sunday supper alongside her.

My grandmother unfortunately made her transition from COVID-19 in 2020. After a rough year being isolated and unemployed during the pandemic, I had one vision in mind --- It was to bring my family together on a singular mission to keep my Grandmother's legacy alive by putting her name and food recipe/cooking style on the tongues of people locally and hopefully later worldwide! In January 2021, Lucy Mae's Kitchen was made.

Although Michelle and I are continuously making moves for the business, I know Grandma Lucy is proud of what was started on her behalf and that is the driving force for our motivation.
